The arrival of the A8 countries in May 2004 changed the EU forever, and has had a huge impact on the UK, particularly the Eastern region. A local town: Wisbech has the nickname "Wisbekistan" as a result of the arrival of large numbers of arrivals.
Most mornings through Summer and early autumn my journey to work is through fields where people are already busy picking and processing fruit and vegetables. Right now, within a couple of miles of where we are sat at KES, migrant workers are working.
What concepts does migration link to ?
