Sport is something which has worked its way onto many Geography department's schemes of work.
I teach at a sports college, and obtained some funding to purchase some resources to teach about the Geography of Sport. This introduced ideas of globalisation of sport, moving stadia (mapwork and effects on local communities) and the impact of sporting events.

A recent addition to the resources available to support this is CARBON FOOTYPRINT, which aims to match people up who are travelling to the same football match.
