AEGIS 3
"An Educational Geographical Information System"
There are some good resources available from THE ADVISORY UNIT website.
This is the best place to start as it has a range of help which is well organised.
These include a BRAZIL MYSTERY which is a 3 Mb download, and a useful FORUM where you can post problems, which seems to have been used recently.
VDS Technologies also offer some COUNTRY SHAPES to download, which are then able to be used.
David Rayner has several sheets relevant to the use of this technology.
Noel Jenkins has also produced several resources.
I have a copy of Aegis 3 (Version 1.2). Over Summer 2006, I have started to explore the software finally, after purchasing it over a year ago with e-Learning Credits.
ADIT form : this is a useful addition, which is used in association with Aegis 3. More on this soon...
A new updated version can also be downloaded.
