a) Develop a knowledge of geographical terminology, concepts, principles and theories

b) Acquire and apply knowledge and understanding of physical processes, their interactions and outcomes over space and time, through the study of places and environments

c) Acquire and apply a range of geographical and transferable skills necessary for the study of geography, particularly the ability to describe, analyse and interpret data and resources

d) Develop an understanding of the relationships between physical environments and people

e) Appreciate the dynamic nature of geography - how places and environments change
