GEOLOGICAL SITES

An aside: I recently recovered my Year 9 Geography book from my parents' house. I looked through the work: Weather and Climate: North Atlantic Drift, effects of aspect and latitude, Hydrological Cycle, Isotherms. It then moved  on to Geology: rock types etc. The next set of work, however, was of the sort of detail and standard that we now do in the 'AS' course and not before: Weathering of different rock types, types of extrusive volcanic activity including Strombolian, Peleean etc., plus Intrusive activity, with Batholiths, Sills and Dykes - just like on this year's AS paper - and we haven't 'dumbed down' ?
