BETT 2003

I visited the 2002 show on the 11th of January, as part of the information gathering for my BPRS report. The show has a WEBSITE. I received a lot of freebies, and also took a few images from the gallery of the exhibits.

Useful things included the Little Book of BETT which has all the links for the various exhibitors. This year there are several guides provided for

The BBC were giving away CD ROMs which featured details of their WEBWISE campaign and Bruce the Spider. Get it.....Robert the Bruce...spider in the cave...don't give up etc.

TEEM were giving away spiral bound booklets with their guide to digital content - all programmes which had been assessed by teachers for their usefulness.

Lots of interactive whiteboards and head-mikes all round, especially on the Microsoft stand, who were promoting Windows XP.

ACTIS were promoting GEOGRAPHY ONLINE: a subscription service. Have since taken a trial subscription of this.

Try the TEACHERNET site for their BETT information.
