COASTS ICT EXERCISE

LANDFORMS OF EROSION AND DEPOSITION

The exam specification makes reference to the following landforms:

LANDFORMS OF EROSION LANDFORMS OF DEPOSITION
Wave Cut Platform Beaches
Headlands & Bays Spits
Natural arches Bars
Stacks and stumps Tombolo
  Cuspate Foreland

Need to be able to describe and explain the formation of each feature and provide a named and located example.

You should also be able to draw an annotated sketch of the feature. Concentrate on one type of feature in each lesson.

These features will also be modified as a result of sea level change, but we will leave this factor out of the equation for the time being.

Read through the Power Point brochure which has been produced for your use. It sets out how you can make use of the program to create a series of pages called 'slides' which you can then put in order, and link from one to the other using transitions, or create animated elements.

Set up a new presentation and produce a series of blank slides. Log onto the Internet, and use the links provided by http://www.geographypages.co.uk, or searches using a decent search engine like GOOGLE.

You have this lesson, and the next, to produce a presentation, and you can then use the option to print handouts, which will provide you with a copy for your notes.

Alternatively, try this SUFFOLK PLAN.
