In October 2007, the London hotel Claridges launched a 'water list'. The most expensive work out at £50 per litre, which is more expensive than some single malt whiskies. Are there such things as 'water miles' ?

There are plenty of expensive bottled waters. Here are a selection of them:

FIJI WATER

This natural artesian water, which is untouched by human hands.Claridges launched a 'water list'

420 VOLCANIC

From an extinct volcano in New Zealand. Priced at £21 for a 42cl bottle.

GOOD WATER

Also from New Zealand and available in a biodegradable bottle

Started out as rainwater that fell on King Island in Tasmania.
