SET UP
The projector has to be calibrated to the board, and it is important that the data projector is not moved. If the projector is ceiling mounted, for example, use the remote to switch it on or off as pressing the button may move it slightly.... apparently. To calibrate the board, use the simple routine relevant to your board. For my SmartBoard, I have to press the 2 buttons to the right of the pen trays to bring up the screen.
What other changes need to be made to the room where the board is installed ?
How does the layout of the room need to be changed to accommodate the board ?
I have cleared the front of the room of desks and clutter. All boxes and other furniture has been moved to the back of the room, which has created a bit of a sqeeze and required some imaginative furniture layout, but the aim is to leave the area in front of the screen clear for people to see and access the board as necessary.
