PLASTIC BAGS

"The damage that single-use plastic bags inflict on the environment is such that strong action must be taken."

Gordon Brown

Plastic bags are something that we all use in huge quantities.

The UK gets through over 13 BILLION of them every year ! (10 per week per household)

Over the last few years, I have picked up a large number of reusable bags, but always seem to forget to take them back into the store.

The DAILY MAIL recently launched a campaign to bring this into the public eye a little more.

There have been a large number of recent articles in the newspaper. Also details about a POLL on the use of plastic bags.
